# Restrict User Controls

By default, most menu controls are available to viewers in reading view, allowing them to adjust the chart to their preferences.

If you wish to restrict this functionality, you can limit which controls users are allowed to use. To do this, access the "Allowed User Controls" dialog here:

This ensures that users can only interact with the chart in ways you permit.
