# Bar Charts

To select bar / column charts, you select *Bars* in the menu. To create a column chart switch the orientation to *Time*.

#### Multiple Series

The series of a bar chart are made up from the measures in the *Values* field. Additionally the dimension in the *Stack / Column* field creates a series for each member, when in *Stack Mode*.

#### Grouping

When you are selecting *Column Mode* you get bar charts grouped in columns by the *Stack / Columns* dimension.

#### Expanding

When you expand a node in a bar chart, the sub categories are shown in place:
